Daniel Michaelson has built a solid reputation in his practice. He is a partner at Neinstein Personal Injury Lawyers, one of the premier law firms in the country. Daniel has a stellar record as a student, graduated cum laude with a degree in Bachelor of Arts. He won the Merit Award being the top graduating student in the history and archaeology program at York University. Daniel then proceeded to complete his studies at the University of Western Ontario Law School and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws. He excelled in his studies and received distinction as a 2005 O-Week Leader, was the captain of the 2006 Western Law Games boat race team. He also won gold mean in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
Michaelson was called to the bar in 2008. In his 11 years in the law practice, he has handled a variety of personal injury cases. Daniel, being a well-rounded personal injury lawyer, has a unique perspective when advocating for the needs and rights of the victims and their immediate families. Some of the cases he has successfully handled include motor vehicle accidents, occupier’s liability, general negligence, medical malpractice, product liability, insurance disputes, insurance defense, commercial disputes, employment law, and property loss and estates, to name a few.
Daniel has appeared at all levels of the court, such as the administrative tribunals, Superior Court of Justice, The Ontario Court of Appeal, Social Benefits Tribunal, Bankruptcy and Estates Courts, Small Claims Court, Human Rights Commission, and the CPP Appeal Hearings. Aside from being an expert in the law, Daniel Michaelson is also involved in voluntary work in his community. He serves as the Board of Directors of Canadian Young Judea and actively takes part in worthy causes such as Lawyers Feed the Hungry and the Nature Conservancy of Canada. He speaks Hebrew fluently and an active member of the Jewish-Canadian Community.
